About Your Supervisor
Guy Iacono has spent a decade working as a licensed clinical social worker, with experience spanning hospital system IOP and PHP levels of care as a dual diagnosis therapist, group practice, and private practice. His clinical focus centers on men from adolescence through adulthood, addressing anxiety, depression, substance misuse, performance pressure, and life transitions. In addition to his direct clinical work, Guy spent nine years in a director level role building mental health and suicide prevention programming across New Jersey and Florida, and previously ran a small group practice in Florida.
That range of experience shapes how Guy supervises. Rather than a one size fits all approach, supervision draws on real exposure to different levels of care, populations, and clinical challenges, so you're getting guidance grounded in lived clinical experience, not just theory.

New Jersey requires LSWs to complete 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience toward LCSW licensure, including 1,920 hours of direct client contact, under an LCSW with Board approved supervisory training.

Florida requires Registered Clinical Social Worker Interns to complete two years of post-master's experience, including 1,500 hours of face to face psychotherapy and at least 100 hours of supervision, under a Board approved Qualified Supervisor.
