Who I work with:

“I work with teenage boys through adult men, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, and major life transitions with a practical, results focused approach. Whether you are dealing with something specific or simply feel stuck, the work is structured around understanding what is actually happening beneath the surface and building real, sustainable change from there.”

SPECIALTIES

Anxiety & Depression
Persistent worry, low mood, and the way both can quietly take over decision making, relationships, and daily functioning. We work to understand the patterns driving it and build tools that create real, lasting relief rather than temporary coping.

Burnout & Perfectionism
For high performing men and driven teens who have tied their sense of worth to constant achievement and have reached a point where it no longer feels like enough. This work focuses on redefining success on your own terms without losing your edge.

Substance Misuse, Alcohol & Gambling
Direct, non-judgmental work on patterns that have become harder to control than they used to be. We address the behavior itself along with what is underneath it, building a path forward that fits your actual life.

Compulsive Behavior
Including problematic pornography use and other compulsive patterns that conflict with a man's values, relationships, or goals. This work is approached with directness and zero judgment, focused on understanding the function the behavior serves and building healthier alternatives.

Sports & Athletic Performance
For athletes and former athletes navigating performance pressure, identity shifts after competition ends, and the mental side of high level competition. We work on the psychology behind performance as much as the performance itself.

Men's Issues & Relationship Challenges
Navigating identity, communication, and connection, both in relationships and in how men relate to themselves. This includes work on emotional expression, conflict, and the expectations men often carry without examining them.

Life Transitions
Career changes, relationship shifts, and the moments that force a person to ask "what's next." This work helps create clarity and direction during periods that otherwise feel disorienting or stuck.

Who This Is a good fit for

This practice is a good fit for teenage boys and men who want to be active participants in their own progress. The work is solution focused and collaborative, built on a foundation of trust, confidentiality, and genuine rapport.

My approach is shaped by my own life experience, my background in coaching and playing competitive sports, and a long standing appreciation for Stoic philosophy. I believe real growth comes from clarity, discipline, and an honest look at what is actually within your control. At the same time, I understand that reaching out for help is not easy. I recognize that talking about what is really going on, especially for men, can feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar - I aim to make this process approachable and sustainable.

If you're looking for a space where we work together toward your goals with structure and direct communication, this will likely feel like a strong match.

What to Expect

We start with a free 15 minute consultation, a low pressure conversation to talk about what brought you here and answer any questions you have about the process.

If we move forward, the first full session is an intake, where we go through your background and history together so I can understand the full picture of where you are and how you got here.

From there, we set clear goals specific to you. Every session afterward builds on that foundation, with regular conversations that check in on progress and keep the work pointed toward the outcomes you actually want.

Reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to see if it's a good fit.

Men’s Group Therapy

I offer a weekly virtual men’s psychotherapy group. This group extends the same collaborative, practical approach used in my individual therapy practice into a structured group setting. It is designed for men navigating anxiety, depression, mood concerns, self-esteem, performance pressure, and life transitions, with a particular focus on professionals, executives, and driven individuals managing sustained demands and complexity. The group is inclusive and emphasizes the importance of community, shared experience, and accountability as part of meaningful and sustained change. Sessions are structured and solution-focused, integrating evidence-based methods with a practical, real-world focus on improving insight, emotional clarity, and daily functioning.

This is an ongoing, open-ended group with structured expectations and a minimum commitment period to support consistency, cohesion, and progress.

Please reach out if you are interested in learning more or joining the group.
